The Creative Services Manager position was designed with the purpose to enable, train and support our team members, through 5 primary principles:

Responsibilities

  • Communication management and follow-up: Leadership meetings, Discipline meetings, CD coordination
  • Training: Onboarding, Boot camps, Methodologies/process champion, Change management and policy enforcement, Design thinking, Atomic design team training
  • Resource Management: Collaborate closely with centralized resource management function, Intricate understanding of talent capabilities across all CD teams, Coordinate and acquisition of casting, talent, locations, legal, Contractor Requests and fulfillment
  • Cultural attaché: Events, Activities, Team building, Recognition
  • Intranet/CRUX master Librarian: Business development asset collection, Maintenance, documentation and distribution of all creative and industry content
  • Awards submission (In collaboration with Marketing)
  • IT Support (workflow oversight): Coordination with agency IT for team needs, Coordination wit agency IT for new team member equipment
  • Leadership support: Go-to person and trusted partner for GCD, CD, and CCO, Collaborate closely and support agency Ops/Finance/HR/Talent acquisition by translating needs and help driving results, Negotiation with third party vendors and software administration for team tools (Invision, sketch, etc.)

Requirements

  • An innate ability to simultaneously support creative goals and business objectives
  • Open-minded, amazing listener and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly motivational, inspiring others to create their best work and address challenges creatively
  • Understanding of the full breadth of creative services from video and photography to editorial copy, UX, UI, and print layout
  • Familiarity with standard project practices and project management
  • Understands and adopts principles and practices of good service, recognizing the importance of diplomacy, problem-solving and client focus
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills across all levels of the organization, especially when balancing project success with client requirements and goals
  • Good judgment with the ability to make difficult decisions
  • Relationship building and relationship management; can forge relationships with creative team members, vendors, and agency groups alike to foster a productive creative services environment
  • Associate degree (or above) in the creative field preferred, or at least five years working experience in an agency environment
